Above is the little angel that my roomate calls, "Evil".  She was kicked out of a litter of kittens born two houses away and was being tortured by the children next door.  This photo was taken in October, 2003.  Behind her is the kitchen scale that I used to weigh her to be sure that she continued to grow into a healthy cat.  Today, she thinks she's a puppy that always has to be in the same room as I am in, greets me at the door when I come home from work, and sleeps at my feet every night.

This is my roomate's cat.  I busted him sitting on the sink in the bathroom trying to look through the frosted glass at the birds outside.  Every now and then, we'll catch him actually sleeping in the sink itself.

Surprisingly to us, he has adjusted rather well to the new kitten and they play relatively well together.  He's even taught her most if his bad habits.

March, 2002 saw me standing on the bridge over the West (North) end of Enola Yard as the train on the left was coming in and the train on the right was heading out.  Most of the subject matter of my photos are trains.

Maryland and Pennsylvania's CF7 #1504 leads this train west bound under the Highland Avenue Bridge in West York on a cool early morning in April, 2004.

My camera is also handy when there is action in the neighborhood.  This fire took place about 4 or 5 blocks from my apartment and I walked to the scene in time to catch smoke still pouring out of the buring structure.  I emailed the shot to my friend, who is an Assistant Fire Chief in York, and it found its way into the Fire Department's annual report.

This is one of two lighthouses on the island of Boca Grande, Florida.  My parents live only an hour away from this paradise in a place that was previously unknown to most people - Punta Gorda.  Hurricaines this year devastated a lot of the area near their home.  I'm hoping that Boca Grande survived.  It's truly a beautiful island.

A word about my camera...It's a Canon PowerShot A20.  Despite the fact that it's only a 2.1 mega pixel, it is quite versatile in both low light and daylight.  It's easy to use and I am quite happy with it.
